Mirror, Mirror …

Yikes!  The holiday season is upon us which means we will most likely have parties to attend, dinners with friends, those wonderful holiday concerts, hostessing our own events, etc.  Yet when we look in the mirror first thing in the morning, we may be disturbed by what we see; especially if we are over thirty!  We must realize, however, that it is possible to attain physical attractiveness at any age, regardless of the attitudes and emotions we currently see reflected upon our face.

Resentment, anger, and jealousy can mar our face, our posture, and finally our bodily health.  If we are a “whiner,” addicted to self-pity, we seize any opportunity to pout; and like the perpetual frowners, we may end up with an upset stomach.  When we carry that proverbial chip on our shoulders, we involuntarily tense many muscles in stiff anticipation of the next “set-to”.  Like a slow poison, these negative ideas eventually manifest as illness.

But we can reverse the process resulting in this frustrating observance.  Healing takes place when by keeping our thoughts calm, pleasant and positive we let the natural Power of the Universe express fully through us.  Did you know that our body is ready at all times to project a flow of harmonious activity if we will just get ourselves out of the way?

Do not burden yourself with those negative thoughts that produce that distressed looking face along with a higher potential for illness.  As the saying goes, “Put on a happy face,” and find that handling your daily activities will be a much smoother, stress free, and more comfortable process.

Isn’t it time for you to be done with the self-defeating emotional reasons you feel you need to feel resentful, put-upon, or cheated by life

Come on – give it a shot!  Step out there and assume that your body is a natural, harmonious expression of you and let it assume its normal operation with ease and joy.

“If you get the inside right,

The outside will fall into place.”
